So excited to launch my little line of bath salts: Rose, Lemongrass and Lavender and a "body" blend of eucalyptus, tea tree and sage. All made with the finest quality epson salts, herbs from our farm or Mountain Rose Herbs and essential oils from Aura Cacia. Custom blends to order.
All too good—and oh so simple! More breakfasts made with our apples. I'm still making applesauce, jams and jellies—and these morning treats. The top is an apple scone with baked apples and the bottom is cooked apples with a touch of sugar, wrapped in fillo dough and topped with slice apples and carrot jam.
This morning, I selected three apples from the bucket on the porch (we still have so many). I cut and pealed and sauteed a bit (until soft, but not a sauce). I wrapped these "softened sweet apples" in fillo dough, turned and topped with a touch of peach jam. I heated for a bit in a 400 degree oven. A simple breakfast! So lovely. Thanks to this season... I'm sill eating kale and carrots from the garden as well.
